About Me
Hi! I'm Ella the ceramic artist behind the brand Zebu Ceramica.
Zebu is a slow, small scale ceramic company started in 2019.
Inspired by joy & justice, my process is intuitive and playful. Each piece is an original one-of-a-kind, sculpture, made on the Hawai'ian Island of O’ahu.
My work is informed by my mixed-race Jewish ancestry, art, decolonization journey, and current social justice issues. Mutual aid is a major tenants of my work, I practice this by supporting individuals as well as organization groups such as LGBTQIA+, BLM, Palestinian aid, + MMIWAG and more (see SUPPORTING on my IG highlights for more).
